Riots saw the end of the week out with protests around the globe against the selling out of a generation by bankers and politicians. Mismanagement, greed and apathy have seen inconceivably high sums of money and, worse still, irreplaceable assets, squandered for short term personal gain by those who should have known better.
It doesn’t take a genius to see that the seeds of discontent have been sown far and wide. Why expect people to behave responsibly when they have nothing to be responsible for and nothing left to lose by acting irresponsibly?
On that rather sobering editorial moment, I shall lead you into this week’s top ten:
1. Amazon – Rugeley Warehouse Fulfilment Centre
2. Marks And Spencer Cheshire Oaks Superstore
4. Morrisons - Wrexham Superstore
5. Waitrose Superstore, Walton-le-Dale
7. Westfield Stratford City Shopping Centre
Just outside of the top ten are:
- BHS, Hartlepool
- Sainsbury’s Christmas jobs
- Waitrose, Chester
- Tesco, Bedworth
- Tesco, Glasgow (Forge Retail Park)

Dipstick of the Week
As always we were inundated <sighs, resignedly>. Here are the three candidates for the “I’m least likely to approach you as a brain donor” award:
First place: “Dear Tesco, I guild organization living in <town> and advice with you I worked as a cleaner or unload trucks or baker thank <name>”
Bizarre. I could have nightmares over one day realising I understand this tosh.
Second place: “I am very itrested i doing customer service assistant jobs for Sainsburys, have excelllet customer service skills very good communicator and always like to lear new skills.”
Well, if first place gets a job with Tesco, and given the second place’s track record with Sainsbury’s, Asda must be laughing all the way to the bank.
Third place: “Is it correct that you are only offering the minimum wage 9 Euros per hour?”
To the point, I suppose. However, if it were my decision, I think that might make the particular correspondent a trifle overpaid.
Not the happiest end to the week. Let’s hope yours was a successful one and that you found the job you were after. If not, just bookmark the site and check back regularly to see what’s new in the job world.
