Character DPM Jobs Saved By Magnadata Sale111 jobs at printers Character DPM and associated Character Mailing Services have just been saved after the company was sold to Boston-based Magnadata by its administrators, KPMG.

Magnadata’s subsidiary, Citizen ID, will now take over the former Character DPM premises in Aintree, Bootle and Warrington, absorbing the existing staff into its operations.

Character DPM’s new owners, Magnadata, produce a variety of specialist security print items such as magnetic tickets, baggage tags, smartcards and RFID (Radio Frequency ID) labels. The company offers both flexographic and lithographic printing and is based in Boston, Lincolnshire with additional premises in Sydney and New Jersey.
