Asda have unwrapped their plans for creating 7,000 extra job vacancies this Christmas.
The jobs will be predominantly in customer service, shop floor, and home delivery positions, and will form part of Asda’s £5m Christmas customer service initiative.
Besides the new temporary jobs, there will also be ¾m hours of overtime meaning a happy festive season for workers who don’t mind putting in the hours.
The news coincided with parent company, Wal-Mart, declaring bumper profit and sales figures.
