Argos will open its second store in Squires Gate Lane Retail Park, Blackpool, Lancashire on Thursday, 27th October, 2012.
The store will occupy the old PC World premises and create 45 permanent job vacancies when the shop opens. In addition to this, the new Argos branch expects to create a further 30 Christmas jobs.
The original Blackpool store in Albert Road will not be affected by the expansion although the Squires Gate Lane store will stock 2,000 additional lines and offer Argos’ full range of 12,000 products.
