Argos have already begun their recruitment drive to fill an estimated 12,000 temporary Christmas job vacancies even though August hasn’t ended yet.
Successful applicants will begin work in September in order to be in place ready for the expected seasonal rush for presents, toys and games. Benefits for the temporary staff include 10% discount on in-store purchases as well as the knowledge that last year many workers were offered permanent contracts.
This year, Argos has joined forces with Thomson and TUI to offer Christmas work to their casual summer workers such as travel and tour reps.
Argos say that they are looking for passionate and enthusiastic staff who want to work in a fun environment.
